How this website handles information about you.

What this website does not do
This website uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and it sets no cookies.
It loads no scripts, fonts or other files from other companies' servers. The only information it stores in your browser is a single session value that records whether the logo's opening motion has already played; it is deleted when you close the browser tab.
Links to LinkedIn, Instagram, X, WhatsApp and the App Store take you to those services, where their own privacy policies apply.
The contact form
When you send a message, we receive your name, your email address, your organization if you give one, the topic you choose and your message. We use this information only to read and answer your enquiry. We do not add you to a mailing list or sell your details. Our hosting and email providers process this information only as needed to host the site, store your message and deliver email.
Your message is sent to our email inbox. A copy is also stored on our web server, together with your IP address and the time it was sent, so that an enquiry is not lost if an email fails. The server also keeps a short technical log of form submissions, including the IP address, to detect and stop automated abuse. To limit repeated submissions, it keeps a record of recent submissions for each connection, identified by a one-way hash of the IP address rather than the address itself, and deletes that record within two days.
Stored copies of messages and the form's technical log entries are deleted automatically 12 months after they were written. Messages delivered to our email inbox may be retained for longer where they form part of business correspondence and are deleted when they are no longer reasonably needed.
Server logs
Like any website, the server that hosts this site records technical information about requests, such as IP addresses, the pages requested, the time and the browser type, in order to operate and secure the service. These access logs are kept by our hosting provider for the period its service sets.
Your choices
You can ask what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to hello@legazione.com.
